The Monitor

I had a 15" monitor in there that I could pull out and rotate. It worked great but I needed a big monitor so I could put the glass in and I wouldn't have to rotate it. The 15" was fine for vertical games. It measured about 11" top to bottom. At first I thought it was a little small, but as you play, you don't really notice it.

But.....Then I found it! The 21" monitor! I had gone to the Super Computer Sale here in town and I saw 2 21" monitors. They were both $300. I was close to buying 1 of them because it was very clear and in good shape. But, I am a wimp. I only had $200 and a credit card. I figured if I put it on the credit card, the wife would be mad. So, being whipped, I chose not to. The next morning (Sunday) I checked the want ads. In there under Computer equipment was my destiny. 21" monitor $200. I called right away and got an answering machine. I left a message and waited. I figured I was too late at that price. About 2 hours later, I got a call. The guy said he had it in his warehouse about an hour from my house. I said I would meet him there. We got there and he actually had 2 of them. The first one he showed me kept scrolling and wouldn't stop. I told him I wouldn't want that one. We hooked up the other one and it rocked! I paid him and I was on my way. When I got home, I was the only one there so I hooked it up to my son's computer and played a few games. It was very cool and I had to get it in the machine. I put a board in and the cordless drill died. By the time it was charged, the wife was home. She helped me the rest of the way. Here are some pictures.
