Joe's Arcade Machine
Control Panel
I had a stand alone control panel I was using and I wanted to play the
arcade machine so badly, I had to adapt it. It was made for one player
only. It was good but I needed 2 player action for games like Joust and
Mario Bros. I had to get over to a friends house to build a new one.
I have a friend with a wood shop at his house. I was finally able to go
over there and make a new control panel. I wasn't sure how it was going to
work so we used cheap wood and didn't really try too hard. It still turned
out great I think. It is strong and you can really rack on it. I like it a

In the center is the Ms Pac-Man/Galaga joystick I got from Happs.
These shots show the plate I had a friend make for me. This joystick is
great. I recommend it to anyone for 4-way games. Very solid.
As you can see below, I didn't do a great job on the wiring inside but it all works. I used an I-Pac which is the greatest thing in the world. I would VERY highly recommend it. Wiring is very easy and straight forward.
